Windows Backup

The Windows Backup options runs directly on the Windows machine. It allows you to use OneSystem to backup individual Virtual or Physical machines independently if you aren't using the host-based backup.

As described in step 4 of the Hyper-V Deploy Process Overview section, the Windows Backup option installs a snapshot driver and agent that performs application consistent backups of the machine on which it is installed.

During installation:

1. Enter the OneSystem IP or FQDN.
2. Enter the OneSystem certification Fingerprint.
3. Enter the Agent Registration token and site ID.
4. Click Next then enter/confirm any additional information requested until the installation is complete.
